The 4th BRICS International Youth Camp took place in Ulyanovsk on 21–25 August.
The camp was attended by 25 young representatives of creative professions from BRICS countries. They were split into three teams and created art objects that reflect picturesque sites in the Ulyanovsk Region.
The campers created a prototype of an ammonite made of wood and glass; tails of an ichthyosaur made of metal; and a painted model of an ichthyosaur that was dubbed ‘BRICSosaur’. These objects will be installed at Undoria Geopark and the Undorovsky Paleontological Museum. In addition to the creative component, the camp programme included training sessions, panel discussions, thematic lectures, and excursions to tourist sites of the Ulyanovsk Region.
The Roscongress Foundation manages the events of Russia’s BRICS chairship.
