BRICS Ministers of sport held a meeting in Kazan on 22 June.
During the business event, participants discussed key issues concerning the development of sports. The second part of the meeting took place in an expanded format with the heads of relevant ministries from Venezuela, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Cuba, as well as representatives of Kyrgyzstan, Djibouti, and Nicaragua. The decision was taken at the meeting to develop a framework programme for the development of sports cooperation between BRICS countries that would regulate the rules for holding the BRICS Games in the chair country.
