The third meeting of the BRICS Anti-Corruption Working Group (ACWG) took place in Vienna on 26–27 August.
The meeting resulted in adoption of two key documents: Enhanced Anti-Corruption Cooperation and Recovery and Return of Assets and Proceeds of Corruption: BRICS Common Vision and Joint Action and BRICS Cooperation in Anti-Corruption Education, Knowledge-Sharing, and Capacity Building: Achievements and Way Forward. Participants also discussed the content of the note on asset recovery in BRICS countries as it pertains to the work of the ACWG.
A special conference was also held, dedicated to Safeguarding Sport Integrity in BRICS Countries and organized in cooperation with the UN Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC).
The Roscongress Foundation manages the events of Russia’s BRICS Chairship.
