The ‘Congress of Dixielands and Ethno-Jazz Ensembles of BRICS Countries in Russia’ International Festival will take place in Kazan on 28–30 August.
Over the course of three days, the city’s outdoor venues will host performances by musicians, dance flash mobs, jam sessions, the Dixieland parade, a carnival procession, and gala concerts. In addition, jazz films will be shown at cinemas and outdoor summer venues, and a competition of street musicians will be held. Thematic radio stations will hold special broadcasts for the event.
The Roscongress Foundation manages the events of Russia’s BRICS Chairship.
