The BRICS Working Group for the Research of Competition Issues in Pharmaceutical Markets met on 9 September 2024 in Wuhan, China.
Meeting participants discussed competition and pricing in the pharmaceutical and biosimilar market, with special attention to the nuances involved in the legal protection of intellectual property.
The event was attended by representatives of competition authorities, international organizations, and businesses from within BRICS. The working group was co-chaired by the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia and the State Administration for Market Regulation of the People’s Republic of China.
