BRICS Creative Innovation Forum to be Held at Eastern Economic Forum
The Innosocium Foundation, the social platform of the Roscongress Foundation, will hold nine sessions on 3 September 2024 at the 9th Eastern Economic Forum as part of the unique BRICS Creative Innovation Forum, which will be held in this format for the first time. The Roscongress Foundation manages the events of Russia’s BRICS Chairship.
“It’s clear that success in creative entrepreneurship is often based on a profound understanding of culture and traditions. This trend is supported in our multi-faceted cooperation with BRICS countries,” Adviser to the Russian President Anton Kobyakov said. “The events of the Innosocium Foundation, the social platform of the Roscongress Foundation, are a popular discussion platform where we can evaluate the effectiveness of current initiatives in the rapidly developing creative economy.”
As part of Russia’s BRICS Chairship, the Forum’s programme have been focused on the comprehensive intensification of cooperation with BRICS countries in culture and art.
The BRICS Creative Innovations Forum will primarily feature discussions on advanced technologies and innovations in creative entrepreneurship and their importance for the creative economy of the future. The discussion participants will consider ways to create conditions for the introduction of technologies and the growth of the creative economy, while preserving Russia’s national cultural identity. The key event will be the plenary session ‘New Russian Cultural Code: The Art of Preserving, Rethinking, and Transforming’. The sessions will feature discussions of the most popular topics in the creative industries: digitalization of languages, ethnocultural heritage and media, changes in creative spaces and their residents, self-sufficiency of creative business, creative economy of the regions, animation in the context of technology, changes in musical landscape, development of gaming industry in the Far East, and digital reality of cultural projects.
