BRICS Ministers of Justice Meeting Postponed

The Organizing Committee for Russia’s chairship of BRICS in 2024 has decided together with its foreign partners to postpone the Meeting of BRICS Ministers of Justice, originally planned for the sidelines of the 2024 St. Petersburg International Legal Forum, scheduled to take place on 26–27 June.

“The Meeting of BRICS Ministers of Justice is an important part of the calendar of events of Russia’s BRICS Chairship. Jurisdictional alignment is one of the organization’s most important tasks, one that contributes to the development of economic ties and greater integration. To ensure interaction is effective and all participants have the opportunity to achieve meaningful agreements, it was decided to hold the event at a separate venue and at a time best suited to ensuring the greatest possible focus on issues facing legal co-operation among BRICS partners. We believe this event will best serve all our partners in September,” Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee for Russia’s chairship of BRICS in 2024 Anton Kobyakov said.

The exact date of the event will be announced in the days to come.

The Roscongress Foundation manages the events of Russia’s BRICS Chairship.
