BRICS Coordination Committee on Antimonopoly Policy to meet in Geneva
The first BRICS Coordination Committee on Antimonopoly Policy meeting during the Russian BRICS Chairship in 2024 is to be held in Geneva on 2 July 2024 in Geneva. The meeting is a key event of the BRICS countries in the field of antimonopoly regulation. During the event current issues on the cooperation agenda of the BRICS competition authorities, interim results of interaction will be discussed and priority areas for further joint work will be identified.
With new countries joining BRICS the meeting will be held in an expanded format with the participation of the heads of the competition authorities of BRICS countries.
The participants are to adopt a Joint Statement of the Heads of the BRICS Competition Authorities on consolidation of efforts to maintain healthy competition in socially significant markets.
The Roscongress Foundation manages the events of Russia’s BRICS chairship.
