All-Russian Children’s Centre ‘Ocean’ to Hold Round Table on ‘Extended Learning in Short-Term Children’s Groups – Mentorship Opportunities’ for Representatives of BRICS Countries

The international round table on ‘Extended Learning in Short-Term Children’s Groups – Mentorship Opportunities’ will take place on 2 May 2 2024. The event, which will be attended by representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation and representatives of the BRICS countries, will feature talks by foreign experts on their mentoring experience and presentations by employees of the All-Russian Children’s Centre ‘Ocean’.

The purpose of the international round table is to expand the scope of professional communication relating to the creation of a mentoring system in short-term children’s groups. The following topics will be discussed at the event: the types of recreational activities and educational programmes currently available for children; mentoring experience; the role of camp counselors and teachers; and the possibility of foreign delegations taking part in the Children of the World international programme, the International Festival of Counselor Teams, and cultural exchange programmes held by the All-Russian Children’s Centre ‘Ocean’. Around one hundred participants are expected to take part in the event, including teachers, mentors, counselors, educators, and heads of educational organizations.
