BRICS Education Ministers to Meet in Kazan
The 11th Meeting of BRICS Education Ministers is scheduled to take place in Kazan on the sidelines of the International ‘Shaping the Future’ Forum on 11 June.
Meeting participants will discuss past cooperation in education within BRICS and new opportunities:
- BRICS Network University development;
- mutual recognition of qualifications;
- a global system for ranking and evaluating universities;
- cooperation in digital education;
- support for talented youth;
- the role of universities in the fight against climate change;
- the BRICS Technical and Vocational Education and Training Cooperation Alliance.
The Meeting of Ministers will wrap up with the approval of a number of official documents that will include: the Declaration of the 11th Meeting of BRICS Education Ministers, the Protocol to the Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of the BRICS Network University, and the Memorandum of Understanding of BRICS Member States and Cooperation in Quality Assurance, Assessment, and the Recognition of Qualifications.
The Roscongress Foundation manages the events of Russia’s BRICS Chairship.
The event will kick off at 10:00 on 11 June at the Bashir Rameev IT Park.

The meeting will include a press approach with the BRICS Ministers of Education at 12:00 (2nd floor).
