BRICS Deputy Finance Ministers and Central Bank Heads to Hold Video Conference

The first financial event of Russia’s chairship of BRICS in 2024 will be held on 7 February as deputy finance ministers and heads of central banks are to meet via video conference.

The agenda will include such topical issues as cooperation on customs and tax, blended financing for infrastructure projects, and the launch of a new BRICS financial research network as part of the BRICS Business Council.

Russian Deputy Minister of Finance Ivan Chebeskov will talk about the financial priorities of Russia’s chairship and will unveil its flagship initiative for improving the international monetary and financial system.
