St. Petersburg hosted the International Forum and Competition of Young BRICS Researchers on Current Problems with Subsoil Use on 18 October 2024 on the sidelines of the international conference ‘Mineral Resources as the Foundation of National Sovereignty: Personnel and an Innovative Environment’.
More than 800 people from 42 countries, including participants BRICS member states, took part in the events. Young researchers, representatives of key ministries, and heads of universities discussed scientific and educational aspects of international relations in the raw materials and energy sectors and ways to further develop them, and adopted a final declaration.
The Roscongress Foundation manages the events of Russia’s BRICS chairship.
