The Future of Diplomacy and Diplomatic Services International Research Conference was held in Moscow on 15 November.
The event was attended by delegations from diplomatic academies and institutes in BRICS and partner nations, the heads of authoritative Russian think tanks, and the representatives of diplomatic missions. Speakers discussed how digital diplomacy, new technologies, and artificial intelligence impact the diplomacy.
The conference marked the first time the rectors of BRICS diplomatic academies and institutes met in person to discuss training professionals (previous meetings had all taken place online).
The Roscongress Foundation manages the events of Russia’s BRICS chairship.
