BRICS healthcare regulatory authorities met in St. Petersburg on 5 June on the sidelines of SPIEF 2024.
A roundtable was held for BRICS regulators to discuss the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Regulation of Medical Products for Human Use signed in December 2023 and the prospect of having new BRICS countries sign on to the Memorandum. An open meeting was also held between representatives of BRICS regulatory authorities and pharmaceutical companies with presentations on national regulatory requirements within BRICS.
The Roscongress Foundation manages the events of Russia’s BRICS Chairship.
