On 11 April a working meeting of the chairs of the committees on international affairs of BRICS parliaments took place.

During the meeting the possible points of the agenda, programme, and format of the 10th BRICS Parliamentary Forum, scheduled for 11–12 July in St. Petersburg, were discussed. Views were exchanged on the role of BRICS in world affairs and the ways to strengthen cooperation between the legislative bodies of the association.

The Roscongress Foundation manages the events of Russia’s BRICS Chairship.
